A goalless draw with Hibernian on Saturday afternoon was hugely disappointing for a Celtic side who were just off the back of an impressive European result against Atletico Madrid.
The Hoops were high on confidence going into the match but were left winless for only the second time in the league this season. Despite an arduous run of games, the Celts have been almost perfect in the Scottish Premiership so far in 2023/24.
This is something Greg Taylor spoke about after the Hibs match, claiming he and his teammates want to be flawless. He said (Daily Record): “But it has definitely been a difficult start. We have been to Pittodrie, Ibrox, Tynecastle, Easter Road, now Livingston. That’s ten games in the league and eight wins and two draws. It could be worse but equally we strive to be perfect and we didn’t quite get what we wanted from Saturday.”

Playing the full 90 minutes at left-back on the weekend, Taylor has been a mainstay in the Celtic side so far this campaign. The 25-year-old is an experienced member of the squad and going forward, will be eager to avoid results like the 0-0 against Hibernian.
It was undoubtedly disheartening but the bhoys still maintain healthy lead at the top of the table. Their fixture run will turn, too, and going into a busy part of the season, they will have more favourable games which only bodes well.
