IT has been well reported that Celtic are in the market for a ‘keeper, with the club looking for a Joe Hart replacement.
There have been a few names linked to the gloves at Celtic, with the most recent being Andriy Lunin of Real Madrid.

Reports in Spain [Relevo] state that the Ukrainian international goalkeeper is being encouraged by his agent to consider a move away from Real Madrid this coming January. Although, he’s said to be settled with his wife and son in Madrid.
Lunin’s contract is set to expire next summer, and at the moment, Real Madrid isn’t looking to extend this. Instead, they’re exploring the possibility of typing Kepa down to a new deal and having him as the number two when Courtois is back from injury.
Celtic will be able to enter pre-contract discussions with the goalie in January, but securing him during that window may be challenging, with Real Madrid not willing to let him go for cheap.
The 24-year-old’s grievances at Real Madrid seem to stem from his limited playing opportunities under Carlo Ancelotti. Despite having a fairly decent record — with five clean sheets from 19 appearances since joining Madrid — the former Zorya Luhansk player remains a peripheral figure in the grand scheme of things in the Spanish capital.
A player of Lunin’s calibre and potential landing at Parkhead would not only bolster their squad but also send a strong message to their domestic and European rivals. As the January transfer window approaches, the Lunin to Celtic storyline will undoubtedly be one to watch closely.
