Kyogo grabbed the game’s first goal for Celtic against Wolves in Dublin on Saturday afternoon after Celtic’s pressing allowed the bhoys to take the lead.
A mistake at the back by Wolves was enough for Celtic to pounce. Liel Abada’s neat little touch to Kyogo inside the area allowed the Japanese striker to put the bhoys ahead, and he didn’t need a second invitation.

Celtic are just a week away from opening their SPFL campaign. The attacking part of the team looks set and ready to go, but the defence looks very weak at the moment. Carl Starfelt didn’t travel to Dublin, and CCV is still on the comeback trail. Maik Nawrocki is also nursing a small injury at the moment. Add to that injuries to both Anthony Ralston and Alistair Johnston; the bhoys are a bit thin on the ground in defence.
The bhoys who are getting their chance in defence will be hoping to impress. One thing is for sure, Kyogo looks ready to go!
