Shock Saudi Move for Former Celtic Flop

Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has confirmed Steven Gerrard is closing in on not one, but two former Celts for his new club in Saudi Arabia.

The former Ibrox boss who only managed one trophy during his time at Ibrox at a time when nobody was allowed in stadiums has a new gig in the oil rich country and is looking to build a new team.

It had already been reported that Moussa Dembele, a former Celtic hero, looked on his way to join up with Gerrard.

However, the shock news tonight that Celtic flop Jack Hendry is set to join the scouser and Moussa is a surprising twist.

Jack Hendry never made the cut at Celtic and was loaned out to Oostende in Belgium. He then had the season of his career which saw Oostende pay the small pre-negotiated loan fee for Jack. Oostende then flipped the player in the same summer for a profit to Club Brugge. But his time at Brugge has not been successful. To add another former Celt into the mix, Ronny Deila now manages the club and obviously deems He dry surplus to requirements.

Saudi Arabian teams are snapping up European based players daily now. Celtic fans saw Jota got for big money earlier this summer and with the financial clout at their disposal, there will be more players heading there from all over Europe as the window wears on.
