Celtic will play in the Champions League for the second season running in 2023/24.
As a result of their league triumph last campaign, the Bhoys have once more automatically qualified for the group stages Europe’s premier club competition.
Brendan Rodgers’ men will take on some elite opposition and they will find out who they will face off against when the group stage draw takes place on Thursday the 31st of August.
After this, it won’t be long before the games get underway with the opening group stage matches taking place on the midweek of September 19/20th.

The five remaining Champions League group games succeed the opening one rather quickly. The dates for them are listed below:
Matchday 2: Midweek of 3/4th October
Matchday 3: Midweek 24/25th October
Matchday 4: Midweek of 7/8th November
Matchday 5: Midweek of 28/29th November
Matchday 6: Midweek of 12/13th December
It will be intriguing to see what Celtic can conjure up in Europe under Brendan Rodgers in the forthcoming season.
One of the key aims of the 50 year old is to secure progression on the continent in his second spell at the Hoops and on the dates mentioned, let’s hope he can practice what he preaches.
