In his first public address since his return as Celtic manager, Brendan Rodgers has expressed his gratitude for the support he has received and his eagerness to make the fans proud once again.

Rodgers began by acknowledging the warm reception he has received since his appointment was announced.
“I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank everybody for the support that I’ve received since I’ve been named the manager here again at Celtic.”
Rodgers, who previously led Celtic to multiple domestic successes during his first tenure at the club, expressed his pride and honour at being given another opportunity to manage the Scottish giants.
“I’m very proud and very honoured to be given the opportunity.”
The Celtic boss also took the time to thank the club’s board, particularly majority shareholder Dermot Desmond, for their faith in his abilities.
“And hopefully, I can repay the faith of Dermot and the board for accepting me back into the club,” Rodgers added.
However, Rodgers was quick to emphasise the importance of the club’s supporters, acknowledging that they are the heart and soul of Celtic.
“But also, very, very importantly to you, the supporters. Celtic football club is about the supporters and I hope that I can come back and make you very proud.”
Rodgers also expressed his desire to reignite the dreams and aspirations of the Celtic faithful.
“And also very importantly to make you dream again. We did that on our first time together and now hopefully going forward, we can dream again.”
Looking ahead to the upcoming season, Rodgers expressed his anticipation and called for unity among the Celtic family.
“So, I really look forward to it, and look forward to being together as one. From the very first day of the season and let’s make this a memorable season for us all,” he concluded.
Rodgers’ heartfelt address to the fans is a clear indication of his commitment to the club and his desire to bring success back to Celtic Park. As the new season approaches, the Celtic family will be hoping that Rodgers can indeed make them dream again.
