Dave Cormack in Celtic Twitter Blunder

Aberdeen chairman Dave Cormack has clarified a recent Twitter mishap in which he mistakenly tweeted about Celtic goalkeeper Conor Hazard in response to Alan Burrows.

The error occurred with Aberdeen in the market for a new goalkeeper following Jay Gorter’s return to Ajax, and some reports have suggested that Celtic’s Ross Doohan could be a potential option.

However, Cormack accidentally tweeted the name of another Celtic goalkeeper, Conor Hazard, leading to confusion and speculation online.

Cormack quickly deleted the tweet and took to Twitter again to explain the situation. He explained that he was just trying to search the name and find out more about the player, but emphasised that his name has not been discussed as a potential option.

Hazard is out of contract this summer, but the club are yet to confirm if he’ll be released. Hopefully, we can get this confirmation soon, but in the meantime, there doesn’t seem to be anything in the Aberdeen speculation.
