CELTIC defender Cameron Carter-Vickers was named the star man in the SPFL Team of the Week after his heroic performance against The Rangers on Sunday.

The defender was a rock at the back during the semi-final, as he has been all season, showing yet again why bringing him to Celtic permanently was some top business from the club last summer.

He’s now played his last game of the season as he heads to surgery, but without him playing through the pain, the progression to the Scottish Cup Final may not have been possible. He put his body on the line multiple times and along with Starfelt, ensured that nothing troubled Joe Hart in goals.
He’ll now pass the baton to Kobayashi, who will look to impress in Celtic’s final six games of the season, with Starfelt moving over to the right side of the central pairing.
Fans have been impressed with the Japanese defender, and are excited to see what else he has to offer.
