CELTIC are in talks over a potential move for their former loan defender Jason Denayer it has been revealed.
In a frantic day of transfer activity where John McGinn headed down south for talks with Aston Villa and Brendan Rodgers subsequently venting his frustrations – it looks like Celtic are upping their efforts to secure signings.

The defender, who played under Ronny Deila is wanted by a number of clubs, including Turkish giants Galatasaray.
It’s believed Celtic want to bring the player in on a permanent deal but only if City lower their demands of £9million which has so far put Galatasaray off making a move for the Belgian.
Elsewhere, Celtic are looking at bringing Emilio Izzaguire back for cover with the player currently being a free agent.
The Honduran left the club last summer but in his absence, there has been nobody to help Kieran Tierney out with Celtic’s heavy match schedule.
