£850,000 – Anthony Joseph Provides Monday Celtic Transfer Update

Sky Sports journalist Anthony Joseph has updated Celtic fans on the imminent arrival of Hyeok-kyu Kwon and Hyun-jun Yang.

The pair have been announced as Celtic players in South Korea, but Celtic have remained silent on the deals and have yet to announce the duo.

However, Joseph wrote on Monday afternoon that both men are set to link up with Celtic in Japan as the bhoys get set to take on Yokohama and Osaka in their pre-season tour.

The journalist also confirmed the fee for Kown, which is in the region of just £850k. From the reports we’ve seen of the player, Celtic could have bagged themselves a major bargain.

The pair will become Celtic’s third and fourth signings of the summer window. Odin Holm and Marco Tilio have already joined the club in recent weeks.

The South Korean duo will link up with fellow countryman Oh, who joined the club back in January to replace the outgoing Giakoumakis.

Oh has had a decent start to his time at Celtic, and will help both players be in to life in Glasgow.
