YANG HYUN-JUN has flown into the UK to finalise his Celtic deal. [SunSport]
His club Gangwon revealed last week the player was on his way to Celtic. There was speculation Yang would meet up with his new teammates in Japan, but it now looks as if he’ll be waiting for their arrival in Glasgow.

The £2.1m winger has revealed he’s already spoken with countryman and Celtic striker Oh about life in Scottish football.
He said: “I was in contact with Oh.
“After the transfer rumours started circulating, I contacted him often.
“The Scottish League is very rough, so he advised me to be careful of injuries and never to be discouraged.
“Since he is there, I don’t think I have to worry about adapting.
“I will do that very quickly.”
Yang has been playing in the K-League up until last week. It means the winger could jump straight into the thick of things. All going well, we could get our first glimpse of the player against Wolves in Dublin at the end of July.
After that, the first opportunity to see him at Celtic Park would be James Forrest’s testimonial against Athletic Club.
Celtic are ramping up their pre-season efforts in Japan at the moment. The bhoys fell to a 6-4 defeat against Yokohama on Wednesday afternoon. They will be hoping for a better result on Saturday against Osaka.
