Former Celtic loan bhoy Charly Musonda has revealed he will be free agent this summer as he looks to reignite his career.

Musonda signed an 18 month loan deal with Celtic but cut the deal short just six months into the deal under Brendan Rodgers because he wasn’t getting game time.

There was great excitement around the deal at the time but in the end, the move was underwhelming for all parties.

Since then, Charly has battled serious injury and almost had to retire.

The Belgian has battled his way back, but has now confirmed he will finally leave Chelsea to pursue the next step in his career.

There was a lot of early promise around the winger when he was coming up the ranks at Chelsea. Charly has shown real commitment coming back from serious injury and will hope someone will take a punt on him this summer.

A Celtic return would look very unlikely, but you never know.
