Celtic goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel took to Instagram post-match this evening to celebrate the Hoops’ 3-0 win over St Mirren at Celtic Park.
With Schmeichel keeping his 16th clean sheet of the league season in 20 games played, he has been sensational in goal since joining in the summer on a free transfer, replacing Joe Hart.
His Instagram posts have often become the highlight of many Hoops supporters’ post-match celebrations, and it was no different this time, with the Dane highlighting the nature of the win after a disappointing defeat at Ibrox on Thursday.

Schmeichel’s elite mentality shines through time and again, with just 7 goals conceded in the league all season, with 3 of them coming on Thursday.
He was desperate to bounce back this afternoon with a clean sheet.
Schmeichel certainly bounced back in style.
Despite having very little to do all afternoon, he produced a great save at the end of the game after Jonah Ayunga shot from close range.
The Danish international has already proven a valuable signing, and with the business end of the season still to come, he will be desperate to add further domestic trophies and success in Europe in the Champions League to his already impressive Celtic career in just six months at the Hoops.
